The Trento and Monte Bondone Tourist Board has organised the “Bondone Day” on Saturday 08 August 2010, a non competitive gathering open to all sportsmen and women, meeting at the Viote’s Cross Country Ski Centre.

The event is offered to encourage sporting activities on Monte Bondone choosing the most appropriate and favoured among the various sporting disciplines or specialities: mountain biking, sky-running, trekking, cycling and ski-rolling. To reach Monte Bondone, five different routes will be prepared (signposted and supervised) with the same finishing line at Piana delle Viote.

Participation in the Bondone Day with your choice of discipline, will be subordinated to the enrolment to be presented using the given method, making a payment of 10€ per person (including: enrolment coupon, certificate of participation, refreshments along the route and on arrival, pasta party finale, raffle ticket, technical help, personal gadget).

“Family Price” of 27€ for families of 2 parents and 1 child; further children will be the organisers of the Bondone Day’s guests.

On enrolment, each participant must automatically note that mountain excursions require awareness and responsibility for one’s fitness and the organisers of the Bondone Day will not therefore be held liable. Each competitor will make an effort to behave appropriately, observing the usual safety rules applied in each sporting discipline and any advice given at the beginning of the race. The competitors must ensure that they have the ideal and necessary equipment for the various disciplines/specialities (helmet for cyclists and ski rollers).

Under 14s must be accompanied by their parents. The 5 uphill tracks are not especially difficult, even though a minimum amount of training is required.

Road conditions and traffic
The road Trento/Vason will be closet to for the transit of the group while the road Lagolo/Viote will be open to traffic one way for the transit of the athletes. All participants shall be required to comply with the rules of the Traffic Code.

Results and Awards
The Bondone Day is a non competitive event. Random prizes will be awarded to the participants; the biggest groups in each speciality will be given a prize as well as the group that has the highest number of participants in each of the five specialities All competitors will be awarded a certificate of participation and a personal gadget. Other possible awards will be announced at the start line.

Help for the participants
The organisers of the Bondone Day will provide refreshments and technical assistance (and mechanical where necessary) along all 5 of the uphill routes on Bondone. All routes will be suitably signposted; any updates about the state of the tracks will be announced at the departure desks of each individual speciality. A First Aid service will be provided by the organisers at the Viote, when the emergency number 118 is called, in radio contact with the check points and help areas along the routes.

Services on arrival
In collaboration with the Autonomous Province of Trento’s Civil Protection Service and Asis, a large tent, to be used as a meeting point for the Bondone Day participants, will be erected in the cross-country ski centre area of the Viote. Inside there will be refreshment points, technical support offered by the Event and the pasta-party also offered by the Organisers. Showers and changing rooms will be available at the Cross-country Ski Centre Asis.

Variations
The organisation reserves the right to make any amendments necessary to the rules due to circumstances beyond our control

Programme on the mountain
Enrolment on Bondone Day guarantees the opportunity to participate in one of the activities organised on the mountain at a discounted price (on presentation of the enrolment coupon).

Norms
On enrolment competitors declare that they accept and are aware of the present norms, they also declare to have expressly exonerated the organisers from any liability, both civil and criminal, for accidents or damages to persons, animals and objects caused by or derived from them, that may happen before, during and after the Event.
